Service Description

Your child is your top priority and when things start to go wrong and you see them struggling, getting the right support is key. You'll want to know you are doing the right thing for your child and that they will start to see improvements in a short space of time. - That's my priority too. Anxiety about school , exams , results can all be reduced - school refusers can be helped back to school and the entire household can feel the benefits. Children are typically in a semi-state of hypnosis most of the time, their minds are open to learning and new experiences. Unlike adults, their minds are quicker to adapt and grasp new ideas. This makes hypnotherapy an ideal approach to help them make positive changes. Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) can be particularly beneficial for teenagers by addressing common challenges such as stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, and behavioral issues. SFH employs techniques that resonate with teenagers, such as guided imagery and relaxation, which are engaging and effective in reducing stress and anxiety. These techniques help teenagers manage academic pressures, social anxieties, and self-doubt more effectively. SFH also focuses on promoting a positive mindset and resilience. It encourages teenagers to set achievable goals and visualize their success, building confidence and self-belief. By accessing the subconscious mind, SFH helps reframe negative thought patterns and behaviors, fostering healthier attitudes towards challenges and setbacks. Moreover, SFH can aid in developing better communication skills and coping strategies. It teaches techniques for relaxation and stress management that teenagers can apply in various situations, enhancing emotional regulation and decision-making skills. Overall, SFH provides teenagers with practical tools to navigate adolescence with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being. It empowers them to take control of their thoughts and behaviors, promoting positive development and long-term mental health benefits. Sessions can be held online , at our Clinic or in the comfort of your own home (£120/hour rate applies). Children often feel more secure in their own homes and can get comfortable sitting in a favourite armchair or on the sofa.
